Description::Our client is a well established telecommunications company who sells, supports, installs, maintains, telecoms business systems and associated products. The company is an authorised reseller for world class telecoms / PABX / VOIP manufacturers including Samsung. The company is in the process of expanding and there is now a requirement for an Installation & Maintenance Engineer to focus on the full Samsung Telecoms range of telephone/voip systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced on the Samsung Office Serv range e.g 7100 / 7200. The role is a mixture of installation and maintenance, you must be willing to work weekends. For this position it is essential that your are experienced on installing and maintaining Samsung PABX / VOIP business phone systems. Salary package is negotiable as the client is focused on finding the right candidate and skills.

The client is based in SE8 and the offices are near the jubilee line, East London line and Waterloo mainline station.

Samsung Courses that a successful applicant ideally would have completed:

OfficeServ Installation & Commissioning Course (STM 100) OfficeServ VoIP Applications Installation & Commissioning Course (STM110) OfficeServ CTI Installation & Commissioning Course (STM005) Advanced SVM Course (STM008)

Samsung Courses that would be beneficial to a successful applicant:

CMS VR Installation & Commissioning Course (STM009) OfficeServ 7000 Data Server Installation & Commissioning Course (STM330) DECT5000 Installation & Commissioning Course (STM STM007)

A successful applicant should have experience of:

- Deploying Samsung PBX telephone systems within the SME
environment
- Basic IT Networking Knowledge
- VoIP Knowledge
- Experience of deploying CAT3, CAT5 structured cabling (including
voice links and multi-core links)
- ISDN testing experience
- Customer service and support experience both over the phone,
remotely and onsite

It is important that a successful candidate will have good customer-facing communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective trouble-shooting and problem solving abilities.

Benefits: Basic £23K - £30K depending on level of Samsung certification achieved and experience + OT + bonus + package (negotiable depending on experience).
