The client is a leader in supporting VOIP technologies and due to winning of new contracts there is now a requirement for a Help Desk Engineer to join the team. The role is a mainly office based Tier 2 support / remote diagnostics from their Hertfordshire office. The ideal background is a candidate who has some telecoms experience and good PC knowledge and perhaps has some exposure to some of the following Networking, TCP /IP, routers, switches and broadband. It could suit some one who has a customer service background, with good PC skills and some diagnostic / fault finding experience. You will need to be proactive and self motivated. It is essential you have an excellent telephone manner, good communication skills and are well presented. As it is a small company you need to be flexible and proactive. The ideal living location for this role is the Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Luton areas. For this role ideally you will have some experience working for a telecommunications company or IT company.
