| Job Title: | | Mitel 3300 Telecoms Engineer - Cheshire / Staffordshire | | | Reference: | | J001209 | | | Salary: | | 28000 | | | Description: | | Our client is a Midlands based Telecoms reseller, installer and maintainer of advanced telephone, call centre and VOIP systems and peripherals including Mitel and Avaya. As a result of ongoing new business success and expansion, they now seek a Mitel (3300) Field Engineer for mainly maintenance calls but there will be some installation and moves / changes responsibility. Maintenance on the Mitel 3300 is the core role here and there could be maintenance on the Avaya IP Office / INDeX if you also possess that product training/skill set. This role will involve covering the Midlands and the North West of England mainly.
Mitel IP 3300 experience is essential!
Avaya IP Office / INDeX would be useful as well (not essential)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
To provide maintenance support for Mitel 3300 products.
To deliver a high standard of customer service.
To respond to Service/maintenance Notifications, diagnose and resolve technical faults and meet agreed contractual obligations.
To provide detailed and accurate notes in real time on the progression of service notification tasks for internal and external viewing.
To carry out some Installation and Upgrade tasks as required.
To comply with specific Health and Safety procedures and requirements.
To be responsible for the security and maintenance of all allocated tools, equipment and inventory.
Essential Job Requirements for all vacancies
Legally able to work in UK
Smart appearance and good customer facing skills
Good grasp on English - able to write a technical report for a customer and communicate verbally in clear and precise manner
Mitel 3300 Installation & Maintenance Certified + minimum of 2 years recent experience on this switch.
Avaya IP Office / INDeX training & experience would be desirable.
Good working knowledge of telecommunications networking
Mitel 3300 Installation & Maintenance.
Good knowledge of VoIP and data networks (desirable)
Full UK driving License
The position involves travel within a defined geographic region (Cheshire & Staffordshire mainly), though there may be a requirement to provide support to other regions from time to time.
Salary depending on telecomms and VoIP experience (c£25k-£28k)
Company Car/Van (may be able to take cash alternative currently about £4K per annum)
