They are Top Partners with Avaya, Mitel and Cisco and as a result of ongoing new business success and expansion, they are expanding the Project Management Team with a "NEW" Project Manager with Avaya eapertise
At this time they are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager on a permanent basis, to be based in/around either Cambridge, Oxford or London and the South East of England area.
We need an Avaya expert! with Five years' Avaya Project Management experience, an eagerness to take on responsibility, a zest to learn more advanced project management techniques (with guidance, of course) and a willingness to learn from and work with our existing Senior PMs how to deliver projects in 'the Company's project management way', and of course a dedication to work 'over and above' the usual 9 to 5 day.
The expectation on the two new candidates will be that they will have a willingness to manage four or five very large projects ( circa £100,000 - £1.5 M) at any one time. You should currently be fulfilling a similar Avaya ACM Project Manager role and seek even larger responsibility and the chance to work on large scale projects for a large Avaya reseller/consultancy. The greater your commercial awareness, the better. YOU will need 'very strong' knowledge of Avaya ACM / MultiVantage & 'working' knowledge of a combination of Mitel, Avaya, Cisco, IPFX, WANs, telcos and servers and be proficient with all MS Office tools (including Visio). A University degree would be preferred but not a pre-requisite. PRINCE2 qualified is not essential, but would be a bonus. Willing to travel a must; The successful candidate will be based from home but will need to travel reguarly to the clients Central London offices (2/3 days per week) and customer sites throughout the UK.
Salary will be to £45k basic + a car allowance of £6,000 + benefits. Ideally the successful candidate will live somewhere between Cambridge, Peterborough, Coventry and Oxford and London (South East of England if possible).
