Description:Our client is is a successful and expanding mobile communications company. There is now a vacancy for a Implementation Administrator. This is a key position in the company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in co-ordination, project management, customer service, be very logical and methodical. It is not essential that you have been a Implementation Administrator in a telecoms environment (but this would be a plus) as the client will seriously consider candidates who have done a similar role in different industries. You will be an excellent communicator, highly organised, have attention to detail, good planning skills and have experience of co-ordaintion in a business environement. Ideal living location is Surrey, Kingston upon Thames (nearest station Walton). This an excellent opportunity to join a leading telecommunications company.

Job Title Implementation Administrator
Reports To: Operations Team Leader

1. Job Purpose

To provide a seamless implementation of all new and resigned connections via close liaison with both the Customer Account Managers and the customer direct. To facilitate all actions required for implementation and ongoing maintenance of accounts via our direct links to the networks and MNP site in addition to the management of the cessation process. To work closely with the Operations Manager and play a key role in the development of new business processes and controls in addition to the management of key projects as and when they arise.


2. Responsibility

People: No direct reports

Responsible for liaising directly with the Account Management team, the Operations team and all network contacts, particularly the MNP & escalation teams.


3. Principal Accountabilities

- Manage implementation plans for all customers to include the setting up of new accounts including line rental, discounts, cost centres and user names
- Control the process of handover to the Operations team with a view to ensuring a full brief on how the account should be managed on a day-to-day basis
- Development and communication of key business rules and processes with a view to ensuring greater levels of consistency and accuracy
- Management of key projects either emanating from specific customer requests or where a development need has been identified from within the business
- Management of all incoming and outgoing ports & migrations, to include the control of internal ports
- General network troubleshooting including GPRS at network level / tariff compatibility
- Provision of PUK codes, facilitate SIM changes, and the resolution of failed commands
- Responsibility for monthly base reconciliation
- Generation of network connection and disconnection reports and MNP reports
- Locking of all PAC codes & cancellation requests
- Control and management of all cessation / termination calculations
- Support the Account Management team with the production of tariff analysis for re-signs and review meetings

4. Knowledge and Experience

- Knowledge of the Carefone system (Network Administration, SOP, Customer Connections and Activity Reporting)
- Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience in dealing with customers & suppliers
- Ability to work to defined deadlines
- Excellent communications skills

5. Job Challenges

To provide support to the Operations Manager in addition to both the Account Management and Operations teams in respect of all implementation and/or any major changes to the customer's business requirements. To assert yourself as the key contact point and authority for all network related activity. Control of monthly reconciliations, cessation & associated reporting.


6. Key Relationships

- Develop effective working relationships with key customer contacts
- Strong interface with both the Operations and Account Management teams
- Build strong relationships with Mobile Product Management
- Build relationships with key network contacts
- Ongoing communication with corporate and consumer accounts across all levels
