The company is an authorised reseller on behalf of world telecoms manufacturers. Established for over 15 years the company has an excellent story to tell. There is now a requirement for a Logistics & Materials / Stock Controller to
1) Co-ordinate and control the Company's telecoms stock inventory in accordance with the agreed processes and procedures.
and 2) To work closely with our suppliers and engineer to ensure timely delivery of goods at the best possible prices.
Key tasks of the role areas follows.
To manage the Company's stock inventory.
To manage, maintain and update the Dimensions Stock System.
To manage Stores Assistant.
To purchase stock items to agreed levels and policies.
To pick equipment from Issue Notes.
To ensure that stock issued is fit for purpose.
To sign for goods returned by engineers.
To recommend, where appropriate, improvements to procedures and processes.
To oversee recovered goods and their repair/return to stock.
To chase non-returned stock.
To recommend and implement areas for improvement.
To undertake stock checks from time to time and annually for the audit.
To participate fully in relevant Company initiatives and events.
To undertake any other duties as requested by the Directors from time to time.
Ideal applicants will be experienced Logistics & Materials / Stock Controllers ideally from within a Telecoms reseller Company or similar Technolgy Company like Telecoms or IT. Knowledge of Telecoms and Dimensions stock system will be advantageous
The ideal living location is North London / Essex border / East London e.g Walthamstow, Woodford, Ilford, Basildon, Dagenham, Romford etc.
Starting salary is c£25k depending on experience.
