The Business Telephone Systems Division now seeks a Pre-Sales Support Engineer to support the UK wide Dealer / Reseller business customers. Our client has a large range and they are a clear market leader.
Main Responsibilities
" Both a background in legacy Telephony, IP Telephony and Applications the successful candidate will provide support to the sales team into the UK nationwide Dealer network. This support will include:
o General sales support
o System and Network design
o System Demonstration
o Sales Support for the existing and new dealers
o General administration for the Department
o Liaising with other offices and technical groups, including Product Management as required
o Liaison with dealers at a technical level for product and support issues
" The individual must have a consultative approach to the role and guide the dealer/end user towards a solution.

" Desktop applications
" Data networking systems and technologies.
" IP, VoIP, SIP, H.323
" Keep up to date with these technologies.,
" Maintain an awareness of the Market Trends/Competing/Complimentary products.

Re-cycling regulations
IP Trends
IT Knowledge
" Good standard of Word and Excel (intermediate in both an advantage)
" PowerPoint - monthly presentations are to be prepared so intermediate to advanced an advantage.
" Lotus Notes - desirable but not essential - training available

" Good team player
Living location - Ideally the Midlands or the North / North West of England as there will be UK wide travel. Other locations will be considered in the UK for the right skillsets and experience.
