| Job Title: | | Telecoms Service Desk Co-ordinator - London | | | Reference: | | J001246 | | | Salary: | | 30000 | | | Description: | | Our client is a long established telecommunications company who sells, supports, installs, maintains, a variety of telecomms business systems and associated products. The company is an authorised reseller for a number of world class telecomms manufacturers including Avaya. There is now an urgent requirement for an office based (City of London, EC3 ) Telecoms Service Desk Co-ordinator.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Processing internal and external paperwork relating to telecoms orders
2. Assist in logging and dispatching maintenance calls in order of priority
3. Customer, engineering, network provider and third party liaison
4. Maintain customer records in an orderly and retrievable manner
SPECIFIC DUTIES
1. Answering and assisting customers on the main service telephone line 2. Logging customer faults and relaying information to engineers using correct terminology 3. Assistance in processing customer orders checking requirements 4. Assistance in ordering equipment in a timely manner from acceptable suppliers 5. Liaise with customers with reference to installation, additional works and delivery schedules 6. Arrange line connections and services with network supplier 7. Preparing engineering paperwork for installation and service calls 8. Process and file returned engineer's paperwork and reports checking that outstanding work/parts have been completed
COMMENTS Mental dexterity required to deal with many tasks with a varying degree of urgency.
Ideal applicants will currently be in a similar Telecoms Co-ordinator role (telecoms reseller) who seek a new challenge and a fast moving and dynamic Company with a friendly and exciting working environment. Telecoms Co-ordinator experience is essential. You must be able to get to the City of London as this is an office based role.
