Our client is an international leader in the development of niche software products for the telecommunications industry. Established for over 10 years the company operates within the convergence market place and is a market leader in communication management software and customer relationship management solutions. The company has developed an impressive portfolio of products that enables its customers to improve efficiency and save money in regard to the management of their clients telecoms function. Our client sells through the Channel and is a partner to world class telecoms companies such as Avaya and Panasonic. The company is now entering an exciting phrase of growth, is launching new products and is seeking an exceptional Channel Manager to spearhead the next chapter in its success story.
Channel Business Development Manager
This is pivotal role within the company and an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious candidate with proven Channel Development experience and knowledge of telecoms applications. You will be working along side the MD in a small dynamic sales team with the aim to take the company to the next level. The position is home based (Southern England i.e. South of Birmingham) and UK wide travel will be required (full driving license is essential).
Purpose: To support continued sales growth of call management and CRM software solutions through the Avaya telecoms channel across the UK manage existing partners and drive new business development; identify new telecoms resellers, qualify and develop partner prospects; and develop in-depth knowledge of partners business, strategy and goals.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of Channel Development within the telecoms industry, ideally within the Avaya or Panasonic channel (or with another similar telecoms application within a telecoms distributor or telecoms manufacturer). Experience in selling telecoms software or call management or billing systems will be an advantage. You must have a proven track record of selling large and complex solutions at board level and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of sales achievement in managing existing and identifying, recruiting and developing new telecoms resellers. You will be well presented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be commercially strong. Benefits: Basic Salary Circa £30K OTE £60K + Car Allowance
