Description:Our client is a market leading telecommunications company, long established with a multi-million pound turnover. Due to continued growth there is now a requirement for a Pre-Sales specialist to join the team. The successful candidate will have a strong background on Pre-Sales on IP Office. You willl need to be technically strong on IP Telephony , be customer facing and have good commercial skills.This is a predominately office based position in the Manchester area and is an opportunity to join a major player with an excellent story to tell.
JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: AVAYA IP OFFICE PRE-SALES SUPPORT
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To provide pre-sales support for existing and new business partners on the Avaya IP Office product portfolio. This role will also demand that time is spent at customer sites on a regular basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To achieve all sales targets associated to the Avaya products.
To support the channel development team to manage and develop new and existing Business Partners.
Provide a high level of pre-sales support for business partners.
Complete Reseller and/or Customer demonstrations on IP Office products and applications when required.
Provide the necessary training for business partners sales and pre-sales teams when necessary.
Work with Avaya pre-sales teams when required to deliver end user solutions.
Provide pricing and support using the ASD (Avaya Solutions Design) tool when requested.
Pro-actively work with business partners to help with closing business.
Respond to business partners requests, telephone calls and e-mails professionally and promptly.
Provide guidance for the relevant accreditation programme for resellers, offering advice and assistance where necessary.
Liaise with relevant parties to ensure advice and guidance are offered on new products, price changes, stock levels and all information is correct.
Deliver internal product training when required to Avaya Channel Development, Dealer and Field sales teams.
Daily monitoring of stock levels and ensure the Business Manager and Purchasing are aware of any issues with low levels of stock items.
Participate and attend Dealer days and/or Road shows when required and help promote the Company/Supplier relationship.
Provide internal and external presentations/demonstrations, training and material to relevant parties to raise the awareness and technical ability for the suppliers Products.
Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships with all internal contacts.
Fully understand and adhere to all relevant sales processes.
Maintain high levels of appropriate product and service knowledge on current and future Avaya products.
Develop and maintain good, effective working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
To effectively manage own diary.
Maintain knowledge of the industry and competitor activity to better promote the brands position.
Maintain full, accurate, honest and timely records.
Respond to management requests in a timely manner

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALITIES:
Knowledge of Avaya IP Office products and applications
Confident face to face presenter/demonstrator

QUALIFICATIONS / RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Essential
Two years Pre-Sales experience.
Full UK driving licence.
High understanding of voice and data communication/IP Telephony.
Highly IT literate in all Microsoft packages.
Technology based background.
Desirable
Previous Pre Sales Avaya Experience.
